Back to Calculate Weight Page

TKMohc

These pictures show a TKM Over Head Cam four-stroke cycle engine designed specifically for motor sports. It is a typical OHC engine. This type of engine is distinguished by having the camshaft installed on the cylinder head. The carburetor and exhaust are also attached to the cylinder head.

This photograph was used with the permission of Heartbeat Racing, the US importer of the TKM OHC engine.

If this engine measured 249.2 cc the minimum weight would be calculated as follows;

Divide 249.2 cc by 2 which equal 124.6

Round 124.6 up to 125.

245 lbs (base weight) + 125 = 370 lbs
